Casey Blood holds a PhD in physics. From 1976 until his retirement in 2000 he was an associate professor of physics at Rutgers University, and chairman of Rutgers physics department from 1993 to 1998. He is the author of The Way from Science to Soul, a book which addresses the connections between quantum theory and the non-physical world, including the soul. "A clear, readable description of the essential core of quantum mechanics is given in The Way from Science to Soul. From this, one can deduce that we each have a nonphysical Mind which is outside normal reality. Then, drawing on insights from several spiritual systems, the book outlines the nature of the world the nonphysical Mind inhabits. Sadly, we acknowledge the passing of Father Charles L. Moore (February 15, 1927 to December 9, 2007). Father Charlie's life and service were a profound blessing to our entire community. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by many. Father Charlie was also a beloved mentor and friend to me and my extended family. He was ordained a Roman Catholic Priest in 1964 and holds degrees in philosophy and theology from Catholic University. His avocation is language: he has studied Spanish, French, Italian, German, Welsh, Latin, Russian and Japanese and is acquainted with Sanskrit and Chinese.
